Description
This is a charity listing for three bottles. Two purple Northwestern water bottles and one clear Northwestern officially branded water bottle. It has its original sticker. One is a Camelbak Chute Mag Cap (brand new) paired with an upcycled (one owner, me, very clean, some scratches, see photos) Vintage Northwestern Wildcats printed logo. It did have the official licensed sticker on it when I purchased it.
The Nalgene still has its official licensed sticker. It comes with a white cap.
Each of the tethered lids on the purple ones are interchangeable (see photo).
The Camelbak capacity is 24 ounces (.75 liters)
The Nalgene capacity is 32 ounces (1000 ml)
The clear one, which is 24 ounces (.75 liters) has a fabric tether that does show some wear. See photos.
All pieces are BPA free.
All three were purchased in Evanston.
This listing is part of a charity effort to raise money for art education. All of the proceeds help young people learn about art.
These water bottles are stock and ready to ship free from Illinois.
Please take a few moments to look at all 12 different photos.
Let me tell you a little about the 2018 design of the Camelbak mag cap (tm). .... The new design keeps the cap from flopping in your face as it uses a magnet to lock the cap in place on the lid.
The threads are on the inside of the drinking chute, making it less rough on your lips on the outside of the spout. The spout is also at an angle for easier chugging. Just twist this one and open it on its tether to rest on the magnet and stay out of your way slightly to the right, not straight in front where your nose is! The fact that it is a twist cap as opposed to a pop top helps prevent leaking even when it sits on its side. It is easy to carry with one finger, or you could use two.
The new lids are awesome because the spout cover threads are on the inside, not against your lips as you drink. There are threads inside the cap and it twists on so as the prevent spilling and leaks even when it is laying on its side in the car, for example. As long as the lid is on and tightened, that is.
I have been using Camelbak products daily since 2010 without any problems.

I love Nalgene products because of the added capacity for water for those longer hikes.
The third water bottle has not been used much. It seals tight against leaks.
Both were cleaned with bleach, then cleaned in boiling water. They have not been used much recently, but each time they were carefully hand washed and stored in the kitchen cabinet, see photos for signs of wear and/or use. Everyone has a different opinion of that. Neither has ever had anything but water in it and have never been washed in the dishwasher, although based on the manufacturers directions, they are dishwasher safe.
All of the pieces on the Camelbak bottle were made by Camelbak and are covered under the Camelbak's "Got Your Bak Lifetime Guarantee. (TM)"
Wide openings on each make them easy to add ice to and easy to clean.
The Camelbak cap, which I purchased last week and customized with a purple tether, is dishwasher safe in the top rack. It has never been used. It also says it is BPA, BPS and BPF free. The handle makes it easy to carry with one finger (or two if you prefer) or strap to your backpack or waist with a carabiner.
These water bottles come from a smoke-free home.
All the proceeds go toward the purchase of groceries for my family of five during these extremely-challenging financial times.
Thanks so much for stopping by and please let me know if you have any questions.
Happy hiking, even if it is just around Northwestern's beautiful campus.
