    Description
    : An antique earthenware saucer with transfer-printed decoration, made in Germany in the late 19th c. It's decorated with a Edwardian pattern in sepia, with a hand-colored central image of the Palace of Fine Art at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair. The saucer (and the missing cup) would have been a souvenir of the Columbia Exposition.

    : Impressed  "S3". Partial printed mark reading LS&S (I think) Germany.
    Condition
    : A couple of minor marks from use to the center, which can only be seen under close examination, all-over crazing to the glaze. Otherwise fine.
