ARTICHOKE Made in Italy CREAM Ceramic ? Majolica Tray Plate Vintage ? Oyster

I purchased this beautiful artichoke plate at an estate sale. They couldn't give me any information about it. I do know that it is stamped Italy on the back and appears to be high-quality. It has the indentions like an oyster place, but has painted artichokes on it. Not sure if it is majolica, but definitely beautiful. I wish I had more definitive information about it. This definitely has some texture to it and is detailed and gorgeous. I do know that it is not brand new and that it was made in Italy.
