A scarce majolica glazed, French faïence Oyster plate showing six scallop shell wells with a border of green, flowering bamboo. Hand-painted at the J. Charlionais and L. Pourailly Cie factory, which specialized in bar, cafe and restaurant ware, circa 1890.
An impressed mark on the bottom
9″ Dia. x 1.0″ H.
The light wear expected of faïence.
