Description

A beautiful unmarked English Holdcroft majolica shell shaped bowl dating from circa 1885. It is covered in a turquoise glaze with pink interior and standing on 3 brown figural seashell feet with one open shell. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks and the glaze is bright and shiny. There is some age crazing and the usual factory glaze and mold irregularities of antique majolica pottery.
Size approx. 9 3/4" by 9" and 4 1/2" in height.
