Hello, here is a larger very THICK! 100% natural CHAMBERED and sutured Ammonite Fossil that has been highly polished all around! It has very well defined contrasting colors and was quarried in the Mahajanga river basin, Madagascar.
It dates from the Cretaceous Era a CRAZY! 79 to 145 Million Years Ago and it is WAY nicer in person as it is very difficult to get all of the detail and true colors to show up in the photos!
This fossil measures a nice! 7.1cm or 2 13/16" at its biggest or from opposing side to side.
