! I’m offering a very pretty example of early MAJOLICA pottery in the form of a BEGONIA LEAF DISH. Country of origin unknown to me. ? Unmarked Etruscan ? Raised, realistic BOTANICAL design. Colorful hues of pink, green and brown. Measures approximately 9” length, 6” wide. I note diffuse crazing of the high glaze (photo). Also note a chip at the leaf top. Also a tight hairline in same area (photo). Clean. Otherwise, VERY GOOD, preowned, vintage, used condition. No other chips, cracks, breaks, hairlines or restorations noted.
