EBay has a repugnant policy of taking their full fee not just from the price of the sold item, but also from the payment for shipping, and even from the sales tax.  When you send me money for shipping, it actually goes to eBay—they take their cut and send me what’s left.   USPS recently added outrageous surcharges on tubes over 21 inches long.  The price of tubes has also risen.
