This embroidered patch is only and exclusively available from our site.  This is the fictional patch of Jessup County Sheriff’s Department which is worn by the corrupt characters of Sheriff Ray Stuckey (Gailard Sartain) and Deputy Clinton Pell (Brad Dourif) in the film “Mississippi Burning”.
The events of the film are based on and center around the Neshoba County Sheriff's Department and the fictional Jessup County patch is based loosely on the "eagle / three star" patch which was worn in many Mississippi counties at the time.
The patch is approximately three inches wide by four inches high and is a light gray background white with a black eagle at the top and black lettering (SHERIFF'S DEPT. and JESSUP COUNTY).
Three gold stars are locate below the county name and a bottom brown rocker with MISS. in gold and a gold border.
The patch is brand new and has never been used and can be displayed or worn (for legal purposes!) conventions, costume, etc.
This patch is a replica and has not been “screen or production used”.
These patches are intended for collecting purposes only and do not convey any legal authority to the possessor.
I always mail USPS with a tracking number to ensure that you receive your items.
If you collect or like fictional movie or television police department patches, be sure to check out my other listing to include; Longmire (Absaroka County Sheriffs, Department of Indian Affairs Reservation Police), Blue Thunder (ASTRODIVISION Police), The Rookies SCPD (Southern California Police Department), Stephen King's The Dead Zone (Castle County) and Needful Things (Castle Rock Sheriff's Department) and Cop Land's Garrison Sheriff's Department and the Jessup County Sheriff's Department from Mississippi Burning.
