The picture is inscribed “To Margaret Day. Sincerely, Katherine Dunham”

Condition
: This black and white photo is 8x10". The autograph is in ink and in great condition. There are some surface dings, but the as seen in scans, the picture shows very nice, especially for its age.  There are no major flaws that take away from the overall appearance, especially when the item is framed, as most of the flaws include edge wear and the paper is not flat (that is not noticeable when framed). There are no tears, no scratches, no chipping. The lower left corner regions has some light wrinkles, but in a frame they will likely not be seen. The back has some extra paper on it, from the picture most likely being in a scrapbook. There are no tears, only the extra paper.
