Description
The James Harman Band's "Those Dangerous Gentlemens'" album was signed in-person by James Harman (d.2021), Kid Ramos, Willie J. Campbell (d.2022), and Stephen Hodges in Southern California.James signed the front cover at the Golden Sails Hotel in Long Beach, California on November 22, 2000. Kid & Stephen signed at Cozies Bar in Studio City, California on September 22, 2000. Willie J. signed at the Doheny Blues Festival in Dana Point, California on May 17, 2014. All 4 members signed the front cover with blue sharpies. The actual record will come with it but I don’t guarantee its’ condition as I buy the albums based on the good condition of the covers since it's the signed cover that I believe is most collectible.
I guarantee the authenticity can be confirmed by any of the reputable authentication companies like Beckett, JSA, or ACOA. Buyers should not automatically assume that just because a seller offers a COA that the signature is genuine. Autographs are only as good as the integrity of the person who's selling them. That said, I'll offer my own Celluloid Heroes COA signed by me to anyone that would like one with their purchase. Sometimes when the celebrities are in a hurry they give a "rushed signature” that looks a bit sloppy even if I just watched them sign it. So if one of the reputable authentication companies decides that in their opinion they cannot guarantee the item’s authenticity just get a letter from them stating that and send it back with the item for a full refund. Of course there is an initial 30 day no questions asked refund policy if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason. If there are any returns the items will have to be received back in the same condition as when purchased & the shipping paid for by the buyer. Hawaii residents will be charged Hawaii General Excise Tax (4.16%).
I started Celluloid Heroes in May 1995 but didn't start selling on ebay until January 2014.
Most of the autographs I'm offering have been gotten in person over the last 25+ years by me or one of the collectors I've worked with in the greater Los Angeles area including Hollywood, Westwood, & Beverly Hills.
About 85-90% of the items that we’ve gotten will have the exact location & date the autograph was obtained (although sometimes I wouldn’t write the details down in a timely manner & would forget exactly where & when they were signed).
I will be selling some of the autographs I’ve purchased from other reputable dealers over the years but of course I will guarantee their authenticity just like I do for the ones we’ve collected.
I wouldn’t buy or sell any autographs that I didn’t believe were genuinely authentic.
I’m not a professional authenticator but I did develop an eye for the signatures of the hundreds of people I was getting autographs from during the 10 year period that I was out collecting at least 4-5 days a week.
A shipping discount will be given for multiple item purchases. If you have any problems with your purchase please contact me before giving any negative feedback as I would like to keep my 100% positive feedback rating. Feel free to ask any questions you might have because I want all buyers to be happy with their purchases. And if you have a good experience with Celluloid Heroes please leave us some positive feedback. Thank you…
