We had been looking for an Egress window cover for 2 yrs since we moved in to our new house. The only option we had found was an expensive custom cover. This cover fits perfectly and weighs enough that it doesn't blow away during a storm. So glad we found this product!

I really like these covers. They fit very well, were easy to install, provide great protection, and seem very sturdy (holding up to 50mph winds recently). However, I bought two and one box had been opened and the installation hardware wasn't inside. I contacted Home Depot, who reached out to the manufacturer to get the hardware sent to me. I never heard another word. Disappointing customer service.

I bought and installed 3 covers a month ago to prevent rain water from accumulating in our window well. We believe that is the main reason we are getting water in our basement despite installing a drain tile system last year. After two large rain storms, the well areas remained bone dry, as did the basement. As an added bonus, the cover is clear, letting in plenty of daylight while keeping leaves, lawn debris, and critters out of the well. The cover is made from high quality materials, is fairly easy to install, and remains tightly in place, regardless of how windy it is outside. At a cost of around 0, it's a great bargain that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it.
